Questions to Ask your Florist
Flowers are timeless. For as long as weddings have been around, flowers have played a large and beautiful role in decoration, photographs, bouquets, the celebration, etc. There are so many different types of flowers that can be used to enhance your big day. Before we even start to get into all of the different types of bouquets you can choose, we are going to give you a list of questions to ask your florist to make sure you are well taken care of for your big day:
Do you have samples (or photos) of work that you have done in the past?
How many years of professional experience do you have?
How much lead time do you need to book out?
Are you able to coordinate the distribution of the flowers on the wedding day?
Wedding Party bouquets
Wedding Party corsages
Mothers/ Fathers
Special guests
Do you pin the corsages and boutonnieres?
Can you coordinate with the wedding planner? (RECOMMENDED :))
Do you charge extra for delivery and set-up?
Will you attend the rehearsal? Is that included in the cost?
Is a deposit require? Is it refundable if needed?
When do you need the final numbers?
Do you preserve bouquets?
Can you help design/ build a flower plan around our color scheme?
What type of flowers would be best for our specific wedding? (type, duration, time of day season of year, quantity, etc?)
